TRAINING
[PTabbedContent] [PTab=I] WHAT IS TRAINING? T raining is the most effective way to make your character stronger. if you haven't noticed yet, in your mini-profile (the information below your avatar), there is an option called xp, with a number next to it. the xp stands for experience points and also acts as the game's currency. these experience points are increased by five with every post you make. but don't go post crazy! training gives you another way to increase your experience.you can use xp to purchase a variety of features at the marketplace. the more experience you have, the stronger your character ultimately will become. if you want to create a training thread, then you may create a thread in any roleplaying board (as long as your character has the means to get there and a reason for being there if it's outside of their own land). you may title your thread anything you want to, but make sure to including at the end of the subject title [T][#][?]. T stands for training, while # stands for number of people training. you may train by yourself [1], or with up to three partners, [4]. the ? mark stands for a third attribute, which will be discussed later in this guide. [PTab=II] GETTING STARTED I f you are training by yourself, then it's simple. after the first post of the thread, you must wait for a staff member to come by to give you experience points based on the quality of your post. the same goes for multiple posters, however, instead, a staff member will wait for all members of the training session to post. for example, if four ninja are training, then you must wait for all four ninja to post. for each additional person training in the thread, each post automatically receives an additional 3 experience points. for example, if three people are training, then each person will receive an additional 4 experience points per post. however, the downfall is you must rely on others to post. a staff member will come by after all posts and then list out the experience points gained by each member based on the quality of the post.each ninja has a limited number of training posts they may make based on their stamina. multiply the character's stamina by 2. if you have a stamina of 5, then you may train for 10 posts (though you are not required to) before becoming too exhausted to train further. the maximum amount of experience you can gain is also determined by your stamina. multiply your stamina by 20. if you have a stamina of 5, then your character may receive up to 100 experience points per training session. at the very top of your thread, include this simple code: 0/# when you start your training, you start at 0 experience points. when a staff member comes by and gives you experience, say, for example, + 11 points, then in your second post, the 0 would change to 11, and so on. you may not exceed your allowed experience point limit per training session. [PTab=III] TYPES OF TRAINING R remember the [?] earlier? this is where the ? comes in. there are different kinds of training. here's a short list of them:[T] - Basic Training [PTab=IV] BASIC TRAINING B asic training is what a ninja will do when they just wish to train, basically. for example, if you see something in the marketplace that you want, and you are trying to build up experience, then you would use basic training to increase your experience only. for basic training, you may only create one new thread once every week.[PTab=V] JUTSU TRAINING J jutsu training is used when your character is trying to learn a new jutsu. there are two ways of learning a new jutsu. the first is to shop in the marketplace. the second is to train until you have enough points to learn the jutsu. which one you decide on is completely dependent on you. as said earlier, the maximum amount of experience you can earn in one training session is dependent on your character's stamina. the following is a list of different ranked-jutsus and the amount of experience points required for them.E-Rank: 50 xp as you can see, learning a jutsu may take several threads. use the following code at the top of each post:
0/# (#) if you are learning a jutsu, change the # to the total amount of experience required for the rank jutsu you are trying to learn. change the second # in () to maximum number of experience points you may earn in a single training session. you are still only allowed to gain up to your maximum experience points per session, however. after you have learned your new jutsu, you must wait one week before learning a new jutsu. [PTab=VI] CHAKRA TRAINING C chakra training is training to increase your total chakra limit. your chakra limit is based on the chakra points system. increasing your chakra limit is very difficult and tedious, but worthwhile if it means you can perform even just one more jutsu during a battle. below is a list of the amount of experience required to increase your chakra limit by a certain number of points, ordered by your ninja rank:ACADEMY STUDENT [PTab=VII] DATA TRAINING D ata training is training different parts of your data. remember those data charts from your application? those. this is the most difficult training as it takes the longest and most experience, and cannot be bought through the marketplace. the following is a table showing the experience requirements.
sound like a lot of experience? it sure is! however, it gets worse. we don't want anybody to reach the maximum of 40 points total for the data, as nobody can reach that rank, because nobody is perfect. as such, we will now explain how many times you can train based on your ninja rank. ACADEMY STUDENT - an academy student is able to train each of the above categories a maximum of +.5 per category. after gaining the maximum xp in the training session, you must wait at least twenty-four hours before continuing the training, if necessary, for one of the above categories before reaching the xp goal. after gaining the +.5, you must wait one week before training another data category. you may only train each category once. (until next ninja level) use the following code if you wish to train your data: +# for data type 0/# (#) this code must be placed at the top of each post you make. the first # will be the points you are increase (.5, 1, 1.5, or 2). input the data type you wish to train. the second #, 0/#, will be the number of experience points required to increase the data category. 0 will change depending how much experience you are given. the third # symbol, between the (), will be the maximum number of experience points you may gain in a single training session. you must wait three days between each training session. [PTab=VIII] FINAL POINTS A staff member has the right to deny anybody the right to training and gaining the required points. the reason is that we do not want any ninja to become too strong, learn too many jutsu, or just become too perfect as a ninja. as a result, we have created a page in which you can make a request to train if you feel unsure about whether or not you will be getting all of the proper points as said in this thread. if we approve your request, then you can train worry-free that we will come in and decline the training process after you have already put a lot of effort and work into creating the posts. if you do not like any of the above numbers, then feel free to PM a staff member for any special requests for your character and make sure to explain why we should make the exception for you. you may also reply to that thread to ensure that a staff member sees it.in addition, we recommend keeping track of your training posts, especially if it's continuous training for something that requires more experience. this way, when you go in to trade your XP for the reward, we can check the threads to make sure you actually deserve the reward. [PTab=IX] F.A.Q. T he following is a list of frequently asked questions specific to training. if you still have further questions that are not addressed in this thread, then please visit the support board or contact an administrator for assistance.how many training sessions can i have at a single time? you may only have one training session per character active at a single time. for example, you cannot have a basic training thread in addition to a data training thread at the same time. where can i post a training thread? you may post a training thread in any roleplaying board. you must, however, keep in mind the limitations of the character. the character should have a means and a reason for being in that location. do i have to wait for a staff member to reply with the number of experience points gained? at this time, you are required to wait. if a staff member takes more than twenty-four hours to respond to your thread, then please post in this thread to notify us. is there any wait time between each training post? whether you are training alone or with others, there is no wait time between each post you may make. if you are training with others, however, you must wait for the other individuals to post before you can post again. i am training with someone else, but they seem to be inactive? if forty-eight hours pass with no activity (meaning, not logging in), from another individual, then you may assume that they have left the training session. if the individual is still logging in, send a friendly reminder to them. if complications arise, please don't hesitate to contact an administrator. is training an effective way to increase experience or get what i want? many items are available at the marketplace to exchange for experience points. however, the costs of these tend to run higher than they would if you were training. for example, for an e-rank jutsu costs 100 experience points in the marketplace. the same ranked jutsu costs 50 experience points through training. in addition, data points can only be increased by training and is not available in the marketplace. am i allowed to purchase a jutsu with the experience points i earn from training from the marketplace? at this time, you cannot. experience points from training will not be added to your profile and will instead go directly to the jutsu you are training for. however, you may use the experience points earned simply by posting towards the marketplace.
