re you interested in creating a new clan? creating a new clan takes a lot of creative thinking and time. you must provide a clan symbol, the clan name (usually the last name), the clan's history, and the clan's alliance, if any. you may choose to create a clan that others may join, limited, or private. please read the rules before filling out and submitting the form. below are the most commonly asked questions about creating new clans. visit the support board if you need further assistance.

how many clans may i request?

at this time, you may only request one custom clan. if you wish to make an exception, then please visit the support board and create a thread.

will the clan be available for anyone to use?

this is up to you and your discretion. you may, when submitting your form, specify whether you would like the clan to be public or not. if the clan is public, the clan will be added to the official canon clan list in the canon database.

am i required to join the clan?

you are not required to the join the clan you create. you are also not required to take the leadership role of the clan you create. if you wish the clan to be private, however, then you must join the clan.

does the clan have to be a family?

no, the clan does not have to be a family. however, be careful in differentiating between clans and organizations. organizations generally serve a specific purpose, while clans are generally a group of familial-type people who normally occupy a similar space.

can i create a clan-specific kekkei genkai?

you may create a clan-specific kekkei genkai, however you are not required to. if you would like a kekkei genkai for your clan, then please specify the name of the kekkei genkai in the clan's description but do not describe the skill. you must apply separately for a kekkei genkai in order for both the clan and the kekkei genkai to be approved.

can i create clan-specific jutsus?

you may create a clan-specific jutsu, however you are not required to. if you would like jutsus for your clan, then please specify the names of these jutsus in the clan's description but do not describe the skills. you must apply separately for these jutsus in order for both the clan and the jutsus to be approved.

can i create a clan with specific jutsus and a kekkei genkai?

yes, you may. make sure to fill out all three forms in order for all three to be approved.

my character has already been accepted, can i still create a clan?

yes, you may create a clan if your character has already been accepted. you may not, however, change your character history or character name. if your clan's history conflicts with your character history, than please visit the support board for possible consideration.

can my clan be public, but still limited?

yes, your clan may be made public but limited. if, for example, you want only a certain number of members in the clan, then please specify all these details in the form.

THE RULES

lease follow the rules before submitting the form to create your own clan. if you have any questions, please create a thread in the support board.

- you may create clans that others can use or you can create a clan that only your character may use.

- if you wish to create a private clan, keep in mind that you may only request a clan that your character will be a member of.

- if you know you would like to create your own clan, but are unsure of where to start, then check out the official canon clan guide for some guidance and inspiration.

- in the clan description, include whether you would like the clan to be public, limited, or private.

- the clan does not necessarily have a kekkei genkai, but may involved a special type of jutsu. these special types of jutsus, such as the aburame's bug manipulation, cannot be claimed only by that specific clan but will be monitored.

- clans are permitted to have residences, and in some rare cases, even villages. be sure to specify these in your description.

- the staff reserves the right to deny any and all requests for any reason.

- if you are ready to create a new clan, then please use the proper form and create a new thread in the custom database with the title of your clan and [nc] at the end of your title (for new clan).
