re you interested in creating a new kekkei genkai? creating a kekkei genkai requires a lot of creativity and patience. you will be required to create a clan in addition to creating a kekkei genkai. you may choose to make the kekkei genkai public, limited, or private within the clan. please read the rules before filling out and submitting the form. below are the most commonly asked questions about creating a kekkei genkai. visit the support board if you need further assistance.

how many kekkei genkais may i request?

technically, the naruto world does allow an individual to have multiple kekkei genkais, assuming those skills come from clans he or she is a member of. that said, at this time, you will be limited to one custom kekkei genkai request per account. if you wish to be an exception, then please visit the support board.

will the kekkei genkai be available for anyone to use?

this is up to you and your discretion. you may, when submitting your form, specify whether you would like the skill to be common, uncommon, rare, or extremely rare within in the clan.

will i be able to use the kekkei genkai?

this is partially up to you (depending on your limitations), and also up to the staff. depending on the skill of the character versus the skill and power of the kekkei genkai will determine your own eligibility for the skill. in most cases, the staff will simply "downscale" the power of the kekkei genkai for the character if necessary.

does the kekkei genkai have to be part of a clan?

at this time, the kekkei genkai is required to be accompanied by a clan. jutsus, such as a storm and wood release, however, are not considered kekkei genkais and are therefore not clan-specific.

can my kekkei genkai be associated with specific jutsus?

yes, your kekkei genkai may be associated with specific jutsus. in some cases, such as the sharingan, jutsus in addition to the power of the kekkei genkai may be utilized. if you wish to add jutsus to your kekkei genkai, you must additionally fill out a request form for jutsus.

my character has already been accepted, can i still create a kekkei genkai?

yes, you may create a kekkei genkai if your character has already been accepted. this does require the creation of a clan, however, and you may not change your character history or character name. if your clan's history conflicts with your character history, then please visit the support board for possible consideration.

can my kekkei genkai be public, but still limited?

a public kekkei genkai refers to allowed use between all members of the associated clan. if, for example, you want only a certain number of members in the clan to be able to perform the kekkei genkai, then please specify all these details in the form.

THE RULES

lease follow the rules before submitting the form to create your own jutsu. if you have any questions, please create a thread in the support board.

- you may create a kekkei genkai that other clan members can use or you can create a kekkei genkai that only your character may use.

- if you wish to create a private kekkei genkai, keep in mind that you may only request a kekkei genkai that your character can use.

- if you know you would like to create your own kekkei genkai, but are unsure of where to start, then check out the official canon jutsu guide for some guidance and inspiration.

- in the kekkei genkai description, include whether you would like the kekkei genkai to be public, limited, or private (please note that this applies only within the clan).

- in addition to apply for a kekkei genkai, you must apply separately for a clan. your kekkei genkai will not be approved until we receive both applications.

- if you wish your kekkei genkai to have additional jutsus, then you must also submit an application for jutsus. your kekkei genkai will not be approved until we receive all three applications.

- while creating your kekkei genkai, please refer to the chakra thread for guidance.

- the staff reserves the right to deny any and all requests for any reason.

- if you are ready to create a new kekkei genkai, then please use the proper form and create a new thread in the custom database with the title of your kekkei genkai and [nkg] at the end of your title (for new kekkei genkai).

the sharingan

this kekkei genkai comes from the uchiha clan and uses five to ten chakra points

the sharingan's abilities consist of two parts: the "eye of insight" and the "eye of hypnotism". the first of the sharingan's powers is being able to see chakra flow. the sharingan itself gives color to chakra, allowing the wielder to differentiate them. they are also able to tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular. the sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the byakugan. this also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. as the sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user, allowing them to see the image of an attacker's next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body and counter-attack or dodge without any wasted movement. however, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not always have time to react.

the sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to copy almost any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other kekkei genkai techniques. the user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near-perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as their own, or even modify them to create their own new techniques, much like sasuke uchiha's lion combo. in order to reproduce a copied technique, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. a prime example is rock lee's brand of taijutsu. in addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the sharingan cannot reproduce techniques dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with.

the sharingan's final commonly-used ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through genjutsu cast by simple eye contact between both parties. more advanced sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability even further to the point where a powerful summon or even a tailed beast may be controlled.
