A through H

he aburame clan * is one of the four noble clans of konohagakure. at birth, members of this clan are offered to a special breed of insects such as kikaichū as a nest, residing just under their host's skin. these insects will then live in symbiosis with their host from that point on. because of this, its members are characterized by their use of insects as weapons. members may also carry additional insects in jars or gourds with them on missions. the insects can leave and enter their host's body through various pores. they feed on chakra as a food source, making them quite deadly. the relationship between the shinobi and the insects is mutually beneficial. the host grants the insects shelter and allows them to feed off their chakra, their body becoming a living hive of tens of thousands of these insects, and in return the insects do the user's bidding, allowing the shinobi to perform ninjutsu-like techniques without the use of hand seals or chakra conversion. a major defining trait of the aburame clan is that all of its known members' eyes are obscured usually by glasses, as well as they wear clothing that usually cover up most of their body.

a female insect can be left on a target, which then can be tracked by smell by the male insect, or scout insects can be sent out and return to tell the host information about the area. for this reason, aburame clan members are experts in espionage; they can communicate with the insects, and the insects specialise in stealth because they make no noise or motion during combat. in addition to utilising insects in battle, the aburame clan also studies insects. even though their insect-related techniques are known only amongst the clan, aburame do not limit themselves to using just a single type of insects, in fact a select few used an insect considered rare even among the clan's members known as nano-sized, venomous insects. to date, only shikuro and torune are known to possess it. another rare insect used by the clan are the kidaichū, an insect which reacts so exponentially to chakra that they grow rapidly in size when exposed to incorrect amounts of it, consuming their victim from the inside out. it makes the insects troublesome ones to host in the body. it has also been shown that they possess the ability to communicate with other bugs and insects,

he akimichi clan * is one of the four noble clans of konohagakure. members of the clan possess great physical strength and are able to quickly convert calories into chakra, which they then use in their various secret techniques. most of these techniques rapidly consume the user's chakra during use, and maintaining them during a prolonged battle can be tiring. for this reason the akimichi have high chakra levels and eat a lot in order to build up or replenish their chakra reserves. as a tribute, members of the clan wear the kanji for "food" on the their clothing. if standard calories aren't enough for a battle, akimichi can use the clan's three colored pills to convert excess fat into chakra, at the cost of one's health.

many akimichi use bō as their weapon of choice. these have the ability to lengthen in proportion to their wielder's size. these weapons also have small appendages at the top of them. these clan members have all also been depicted with markings of sorts on their cheeks and most of them have been seen wearing plate armor, both with and without flak jackets. the akimichi clan has a special relationship with the nara and yamanaka clan. for generations, members of these three families have formed "ino–shika–chō" trios, named after the first part of the names of the members with the akimichi members being the "chō" in the trio. to strengthen the unity between the three clans, a member of the sarutobi clan will give them special earrings to present to each generation head when they are promoted to chūnin after which they will swear their oaths. the earrings also symbolise that they are considered adults by their respective clans.

he amagiri clan is one of the three clans that hail from yumegakure. they were the founders of the village. the amagiri clan founded and led yumegakure at some point of the past. later on, the tenro clan came, using the three-heads' sealing technique as a shield and slowly took over the village. when a tenro became village chief, the amagiri clan's history of oppression began. all the blame for the poverty of the village and the wars that brought even more sacrifices went to the amagiri and they were exiled from the village. the path they walked after that was truly one of thorns, as gensui describes it. because of this, gensui sought vengeance on the tenro, planning to use the three-heads to get revenge. a defining trait of the amagiri clan is that all its members wear samurai-like attire, usually having pinkish-red and purple colours on them and sometimes some gold. all of them have pinkish-red markings on their faces that differ from person to person, but all have a marking on their lower foreheads, usually a triangle pointing downward.

many members of this clan use the poison mist in battle and also poisonous insects that are roughly the size of large rats. besides having poisonous stingers, these insects can instantly emit a poison cloud when defeated. some members have also been shown using a yellow mist that paralyses the target and some carry scrolls that can dispel poison and/or paralysis. chūnin-level shinobi from the clan have been shown using kama as well as a cable with a piece of iron in the tip which they can enhance with fire-natured chakra.

he fūma clan * is a renowned ninja clan, famous in at least amegakure and the land of fire. it is unknown where they hail from. they are well-known as an aggressive clan and fight using their characteristic giant fūma shuriken; a large, four-bladed weapon said to possess pre-eminent sharpness. this type of shuriken use has spread beyond the fūma clan though and several other shinobi have been seen using them since.

he hagoromo clan * is one of the earlier clans which existed during the war-torn era preceding the creation of the hidden villages. while not a great deal is known about them, they were one of the warring factions alongside the uchiha clan to oppose the senju clan in battle.

he hirasaka clan is one of the three clans that hail from yumegakure. a defining trait of the hirasaka clan is that all its members wear large hoods over their heads and some have it covering their mouths too. they are the only clan in yumegakure to not have any facial markings or, at least, none have been seen. some techniques in this clan include sealing the opponent's chakra or confusing them to the point where they attack their own allies. some members carry scrolls that can dispel confusion and/or chakra sealing. some chūnin-level shinobi have been shown to use the shadow clone technique and bombs that release electricity when they explode. many shinobi are also fairly skilled in taijutsu.

he hōzuki clan * is a group of ninja that originated from kirigakure with the ability to turn their bodies into liquefied form. the members of this clan possess the ability to turn their bodies into liquid form using the hydrification technique. this ability however seems to require that they stay hydrated at all times and as such at least two known members are known to carry water bottles around with them.

he hyūga clan * is one of the four noble clans of konohagakure. all members born into this clan possess the byakugan, a kekkei genkai that gives them extended fields of vision and the ability to see through solid objects and even the chakra circulatory system, amongst other things, and expel chakra from any of the tenketsu in their body. while not much is known of the clan's background, they are considered to be one of, if not currently, the most powerful clan in konohagakure. their notoriety and prowess stretches far and wide, leading others to both praise and covet their abilities.

the clan is separated into two parts, the main house and the branch house, a system that protects the secrets of the byakugan from outsiders. the main house runs the family while the branch house protects it. the members of the branch house are branded with a cursed seal upon the third birthday of the heir to the main house. this seal gives the main house members absolute control over the branch members, because they can destroy the branch members' brain cells with a simple hand seal, or cause them great pain to punish them. this seal also makes sure the secret of the hyūga's byakugan is safe, because it seals the byakugan after the wearer of the seal dies. because they are essentially servants, simply because of their birth order or heritage, some branch house members are hostile to those of the main house.

the hyūga are renowned for possessing the highly coveted byakugan, a kekkei genkai feared for the great visual prowess that it grants its wielder. the first ability of the byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra. the second ability is being able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. the distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved. however, the byakugan cannot see through certain barriers, such as the four black fogs formation used by the sound four. the third and one of the greatest uses of the byakugan is the ability to see chakra, its flow, as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail.

members of the clan are instructed in the use of the gentle fist style, which uses the byakugan to view the opponent's chakra pathway system and deal precise blows to disable and impede the flow of chakra. due to training in this style, hyūga clan members tend to have excellent chakra control. this is emphasised in techniques that utilise this chakra control, as well as the nuances of the gentle fist art. because of this, the gentle fist is regarded as konoha's strongest taijutsu style.

it has been noted that this clan possesses more than one kekkei genkai, one of which grants them the ability to expel chakra from every tenketsu in their body, allowing them to fully utilise chakra with attacks such as the eight trigrams palms revolving heaven and the gentle fist art one blow body techniques. in addition, the clan's techniques outside the basic gentle fist fighting style, like the eight trigrams sixty-four palms etc., are only taught to members of the main house.

he inuzuka clan * is a family of shinobi in konohagakure known for their use of ninken as fighting companions and are easily identified by the distinctive red fang markings on their cheeks. the members are given their own canine partner(s) when they reach a certain age. thereafter, the shinobi and their dog(s) are practically inseparable. the shinobi and canine allies fight using collaboration jutsu, such as the fang passing fang or fang rotating fang techniques amongst others, that take advantage of their teamwork and their sharp claws and teeth. the clan members are also able to communicate with canines even if the dogs cannot talk. the members of this clan, much like their canine partners, have greatly enhanced senses especially the sense of smell. by concentrating chakra to their noses, this sense is amplified to an even greater extent allowing the user to be able to detect, track and monitor targets from fairly long distance away. the clan's fighting style primarily revolves around their enhanced speed, strength and agility granted by the four legs technique and other canine-based attacks, in conjunction with the tactical advantages granted by their heightened senses.

he jūgo clan is an unknown family, which originated from an unknown area. the members of this clan possess the innate ability to absorb natural energy from their surroundings due to their special bodies. as a result of this unique capability and constitution, clan members can undergo various drastic physical alterations. however, the adverse effects of this energy result in sudden and uncontrollable surges of power, causing them to sporadically go berserk.

he kaguya clan * is a small clan, known for their savage battle tactics and archaic values. select few possessed the kekkei genkai shikotsumyaku; this ability was so powerful that even the war-loving kaguya clan feared it. the clan is rapidly dying while attacking kirigakure in a failed attempt to show off their ferocity. the clan was very savage and had no tactics when going to battle, and refused to back down even when surrounded and completely outmatched, preferring to fight to the death for fun. apparently, the members who possess the shikotsumyaku abilities have a different body structure than others.

he kamizuru clan is a clan of bee users from iwagakure who were once very well known. they once attempted to lead an invasion force into konohagakure, only to be repelled and largely killed by the more experienced aburame clan. they had lost so badly that they lost their status and respect in the village and their numbers began to fall to the few remaining members left. apparently, the first tsuchikage was one of its members.

he kedōin clan * is a small clan. its members have the ability to copy someone's appearance, so well that it can't be exposed by ninken. however, they cannot copy techniques and other abilities. after a few days, the clan member who used the technique returns to normal.

he kohaku clan * was a shinobi clan that has a village near the border of the land of fire to that of amegakure. despite having their own village, the clan was also seen to be affiliated with konoha. the members had the symbol of black futatsudomoe (double tomoe shaped like yin and yang) tattooed on their upper arm with two lines going around it.

he kurama clan * is a clan of extremely skilled genjutsu users. this talent in genjutsu is due to the kekkei genkai that the clan possesses. however, once every few generations, a member of the clan will be born with such enormous skill in genjutsu that their illusions causes the brain to make anything that happens to the victim within the genjutsu physically real, allowing the clan member to potentially kill their opponents with genjutsu. such frightening power is not without its drawbacks, however. the user can rarely control the full extent of their abilities, and as such their subconscious will often regulate that power, leading to the creation of a second personality in control of that power. this personality then overwhelms the original, turning the individual into a monster that is a danger to everyone around them. they were originally one of the more prominent clans in konohagakure, but the number of ninja in the clan has severely dwindled.

he nara clan * is known for their intelligence, ninjutsu that entails the manipulation of shadows, and tending of deer which graze in a large area of the nara clan forest. they have kept a book with medicine preparations and effects for generations which imply they are skilled in the area of medicine. among the medicine described in this book are the secret pills used by the akimichi clan.

the nara clan has a special relationship with the akimichi and the yamanaka clan. for several generations, members of these three families have formed "ino–shika–chō" trios, named after the first part of the names of the members with the nara members being the "shika" in the trio. to strengthen the unity between the three clans, a member of the sarutobi clan will give them special earrings to present to each generation head when they are promoted to chūnin after which they will swear their oaths. the earrings also symbolize that they are considered adults by their respective clans. the clan members also seem to favor wearing their hair in ponytails.

R through T

he rinha clan is a clan with specialists of medical ninjuts. they have performed admirably in the past wars. the rinha clan specialized in medical ninjutsu and were so proficient that they, during past wars, were targeted by shinobi from other countries, seeking to obtain their techniques. the clan also possessed a kekkei genkai which enabled them to absorb chakra from people and create perfect copies of them. they were capable of absorbing the chakra both by direct physical contact or from a distance.

he ryū clan is a powerful clan of dragon guardians entrusted with keeping the powerful dragon blade, the ryū clan was blessed by the power of the five genryū, who together fertilized the land belonging to the clan around mount koryū. however, due to their clan's history as dragon guardians, all members of the clan were bound to the genryū, signified by small horns on their heads, pointed ears, and, in some cases, facial markings. because of their appearances, others recognized them immediately as those who had the power of the genryū on their side, and persecuted them out of fear of the genryū, exiling the clan and nearly driving them to extinction some time before the first shinobi world war. there are few members left.

he sarutobi clan * is an influential clan from konohagakure. it has produced several notable members who have held positions of high authority, such as hokage, and membership in the twelve guardian ninja. all known members have also been observed devotees of the will of fire. after konohagakure's formation following the warring states period, the sarutobi were amongst the first set of clans to ally themselves with the senju and uchiha-founded village, alongside the shimura clan. not much is known of this clan but, in order to strengthen the unity between the akimichi, nara, and yamanaka clans, it has become a tradition that one of the sarutobi give each of the members of the current ino–shika–chō trio special earrings when they swear their oaths.

they use the fire release: great flame technique to quickly dry the quicklime which was covering the beast. the sarutobi are famous for their high willpower, and exceptionally strong shinobi. all the members which have been shown fighting have displayed the ability to use fire release nature transformation. the members of this clan seem to be able to easily master high-level techniques.

he senju clan * was a group of shinobi that were the strongest, feared and most respected clan above all other clans in the ninja world during the war-torn era before the founding of the hidden villages. together with their rivals — and distant relatives through a common ancestor — the uchiha clan, they are responsible for founding the first hidden village named konohagakure and making the village into what it is today. the senju clan descended from the younger of the two sons of the sage of the six paths who was born with the "body" of the sage, inheriting his father's life force, physical energy, and believed that love was the key to bringing peace to the world. the sage grew to favor the ideals of his younger son over those of his older son, who believed that power alone was the true key to finding peace. therefore, on his deathbed it was the younger of the two brothers that the sage chose to name as his successor. the elder brother, bitter and hateful at having being denied what he felt was rightfully his to inherit, attacked his younger sibling. the uchiha clan would descend from the elder brother, resulting in the bitter centuries-long rivalry between the senju and the uchiha. while undisputed, the senju's legendary rivalry with uchiha clan was taken advantage of by countries that hire their services.

the senju clan gained their fame in the era before the founding of the hidden villages. where other clans focused on mastering one particular set of skills, the senju were prodigious in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, and genjutsu. because of this, they were known as "the clan with a thousand skills", which gave them their name "senju".

the most famous member of the clan was hashirama senju, whose unique wood release ninjutsu that gave the clan the nickname the senju clan of the forest, and his ability to control the tailed beasts, made him the greatest shinobi of his time. however, living in a world of constant bloodshed, hashirama had a great love for his fellow man and a dream of peace among all ninja. known as the "will of fire", this belief enabled hashirama to use his position as leader to convince his clan to propose a truce with the uchiha clan. weary of fighting, and persuaded by hashirama's great charisma and negotiation skill, though not accepted at first, the uchiha ultimately conceded to the fact that the senju were superior to them and started to surrender to the senju. during a battle that lasted an entire day, madara uchiha finally fell in battle but still refused to accept the truce until hashirama killed either himself or his own brother.[5] witnessing hashirama's resolve to kill himself, madara finally accepted their truce thus ending the bloody rivalry between the two clan.

the senju and the uchiha created a permanent settlement for shinobi within the country: konohagakure. the first of its kind, the system along with the name inspired more countries to have their own hidden village per country, ending the warring states period with hashirama's dream becoming a reality. but it would soon start again after hashirama was elected as the first hokage with the only uchiha who was against the truce, madara uchiha who came to the conclusion that the hope for his clan was slowly dwindling, defected from the village in search of what he called his own reality. this would renew his battles with hashirama until the fated, final battle at the valley of the end where hashirama resolved to protect his own dream, killing his former friend who had succumbed to the curse of hatred.

the senju and uzumaki clans are distant blood relatives whom they retained strong connections with. for this reason konoha-nin uniforms have the symbol of uzushiogakure emblazoned on its shoulders. hashirama's wife would also come from this clan, further strengthening their ties. throughout the years, the senju retained their supremacy over konoha, and made the village into what it is today. after the first hokage's death, his younger brother, tobirama senju, stepped up to become the second hokage.

it is unknown if the senju clan still exists as an independent clan since it neither became one of the four noble clans of konohagakure. their legacy however, lives on strongly in the hearts of the people of konoha.

he shiin clan is a small shinobi clan from the land of the rice fields. despite their size, they had high ideals. after otogakure was founded, all the skilled members joined otogakure. the members had a special tattoo on the right upper arm, with the appearance of a purple band circling the arm three times. the tattoo was only visible when the wearer was perspiring.

he shimura clan is a shinobi clan from konohagakure. after konohagakure's formation following the warring states period, the shimura were amongst the first set of clans to ally themselves with the senju and uchiha-founded village, alongside the sarutobi clan. not much else is known of the clan.

he shirogane clan * lived on the border of the land of wind. they were a small clan with no particularly skilled ninja. trying to find a source of power to compensate for that, they created puppet walkers. wielding an army, they survived the shinobi wars. but a dark secret was exposed: to develop the puppet walkers, they abducted humans and experimented on them. the puppet walkers were outlawed, causing the clan start a rebellion against the five great nations and being annihilated. they were the developers of the master puppet, the ultimate puppet walker who have power to destroy nations. but an unexpected event happened: it had its own will. and fearing its immense power, and the prospect that the puppet might one day rebel against its creators, the shirogane sealed the master puppet away into the five spirit orbs. the master puppet was about to be revived during the rebellion, but the clan was squashed before they could do so. the last survivors hid the spirit orbs on the five great nations swearing revenge, and disappeared.

the shirogane were said to be comprised of ninja with meagre skill compared to the other existing shinobi clans. however, they were highly proficient in the puppet-making arts, as it was their apparent inferiority that led to them developing the puppet walkers. these puppet walkers are superior to normal puppets in general since they can operate without a nearby puppeteer as they can be manipulated from a distance, and are capable of getting up after receiving multiple hits from the opposition. the shirogane three, a trio of the clan's survivors bent on reviving the master puppet, and use it as the trigger for clan's revival, were all skilled puppeteers, able to control their puppets in such a way that they could not only copy a target's appearance, but also near-accurately mimic the skills of their targets. after their near-total destruction, only a few members remain.

he is a clan of ninja that hail from yumegakure. the tenro clan was responsible for sealing and controlling the three-headed guardian beast which resulted in them gaining control of yumegakure. the tenro clan ninja fighting style revolves mainly around the use of taijutsu and some use of ninja tools. some members have been shown to use a combat based transformation technique, allowing them to take on a wolf-like creature that enhances their strength and speed, which emphasizes their main focus of taijutsu and close combat.

some members of the clan also used unconventional weaponry in the form of large dual-wielded drills, capable of swiftly boring through the earth, thus surprising the opponent, alongside using them as thrusting weapons when battling above ground. like the inuzuka clan of konohagakure, the tenro clan makes use of canines in combat by using wolves with a pair of large bladed weapons strapped to their back. the canines use their blades by rearing up onto their hind legs and jump at their targets and spinning around. aside from combat skills, the clan also boasted knowledge of a high level sealing technique, which in the past enabled them to imprison the three-headed guardian beast. while the seal was not shown, its abilities were similar to the eight trigrams sealing style in that it allows for an opening of the seal with a special key. the key itself, is held by the leader of the village.

he tsuchigumo clan * is a clan that has a small fort on mount katsuragi that is surrounded by a barrier, and a field with many hidden traps. additionally, they also have their own hidden village. the tsuchigumo clan was hailed as a powerful and proud clan, because they possessed the powerful tsuchigumo clan kinjutsu. although they were often targeted for that reason, leading to many clan members being killed and only few remaining clan members could use the kinjutsu. after that the clan became weak and en no gyōja and the village elder had disagreements over the clan's survival. this led to the clan splitting into two groups with one in the tsuchigumo village and the other at mount katsuragi. only few opted to follow en no gyōja to mount katsuragi.

U through Z

he uchiha clan * was one of the four noble clans of konohagakure, and was also reputed to be the village's most powerful clan, producing shinobi that were exceptionally talented and battle-oriented. together with the senju clan, they founded konohagakure. the uchiha clan descended from the elder of the two sons of the sage of the six paths. the elder brother inherited the sage's "eyes", powerful chakra and spiritual energies. when it came time for the sage to choose a successor, he questioned the two on what course of action they would follow to bring order to the world. the elder believed that power was the way to bring peace, while the younger believed love was the way. the sage favored the ideal of the younger brother, and therefore designated the younger as his successor, causing the elder to be filled with jealousy and hatred. from this hate came the curse of hatred. from the younger son descended the senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the uchiha. however, the uchiha suffered another more dangerous curse: a passionate love that can become a bottomless well of despair the moment the one they care for most is dead.

before the founding of the ninja villages, the uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. because of their sharingan as well as battle prowess, the uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the other being the senju clan. madara uchiha was particularly powerful, and, upon attaining the mangekyō sharingan, took control of the clan. under his leadership the uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the senju, and vice versa.

some time before konoha's founding, some members of the uchiha clan began to willingly surrender, realizing that they were outclassed by the senju. the senju later grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the uchiha clan with a peace treaty once again. though rejected time and time before as madara feared that an alliance would destroy the uchiha clan, he willingly accepted after witnessing hashirama's resolve. the two clans came together to form konoha, with hashirama senju, leader of the senju clan, being selected as hokage. madara believed that this was proof that the uchiha would be made subservient to the senju, but his clan saw this only as his attempt to rekindle the flames of war. they turned their backs on him, and he defected.

following madara's betrayal, having gone into hiding after faking his death in the battle against hashirama, the second hokage tobirama senju gave the uchiha control of the konoha military police force as a sign of trust. however, this was really just a way of keeping the uchiha's emotions in check so the village would not end up with another madara. over the years, some uchiha, such as setsuna uchiha, came to realize their ostracism and believed that they were being purposely kept out of konoha's governing affairs. though setsuna and his followers tried to rebel against the village as madara did, they found that it was too late to make a difference, as the senju had already completely suppressed the uchiha. despite tobirama's attempts, it only caused a greater rift between the uchiha and the village.

the uchiha were famous for their powerful chakra, exceptionally strong techniques, and natural aptitude for anything combat-related. the clan possessed an innate affinity for fire release nature transformation, with even the youngest of members able to use it from just observation.[19] as such they have created several and use this nature transformation more skilfully than any other.[20] their signature technique was the fire release: great fireball technique.[21] clan members were not recognised as adults by the rest of the clan until they could successfully use this technique.[22] the uchiha were also highly known for their mastery of ninja tools. they themselves invented many shuriken move sets which required the use of thin metal wires, one example being the windmill triple blades technique. they were apparently also somewhat skilled in barrier ninjutsu, having created the uchiha flame formation which, still holding to their natural affinity for fire, created a barrier that burned whatever came in contact with it.

the uchiha clan were most feared for their powerful sharingan, a kekkei genkai which gives them the ability to see the "colours" of chakra, allowing them to analyse and copy their opponent's skills, along with a number of other abilities. only a select few members of the uchiha clan manifested the sharingan. due to their natural affinity for battle, and their proficiency with ocular genjutsu, many ninjas considered it more tactically favorable to flee rather than face an uchiha shinobi in one-on-one combat. among the techniques granted by the sharingan, the izanagi and izanami are deemed to be forbidden, due to their effect of rendering the user blind in exchange for creating genjutsu capable of escaping death or trapping the opponent without failure. though the clan was feared for their sharingan, the eyes have also been transplanted into various shinobi outside the clan.

madara and izuna were the first two uchiha to awaken an advanced form of the sharingan known as the mangekyō sharingan, which can be activated by the pain of losing close friends or family members. however, frequent use of the mangekyō sharingan deteriorates the user's eyesight and results in blindness. only by taking the eyes of a sibling can one's vision be restored, a process that results in the creation of an eternal mangekyō sharingan.

he uzumaki clan * was a prominent clan in uzushiogakure. they were distant blood relatives of the senju clan and as such, both were on good terms; an alliance that extended onto their hidden villages — konohagakure and uzushiogakure. the shinobi of konoha integrated uzushiogakure's symbol onto their uniforms and flak jackets as well as on the shoulders of their uniforms as a sign of friendship and goodwill between the two villages, and continue to do so to this day, in memory of their friendship even years after uzushiogakure's destruction.

he yamanaka clan * is a family of ninja found in konohagakure. they specialize in mind related techniques, and they own and run a flower shop in the village. the members of this clan specialize in mind-centered techniques which makes them experts at intelligence gathering and espionage. they have also displayed sensory abilities and their techniques include transferring consciousness, reading minds and communicating telepathically. the flower symbol of this clan is the bush clover which symbolizes a "positive love". most members of the yamanaka clan wear their hair in a long ponytail, which appears to be traditional.
